We are a family company and continually seek our Lord for guidance and by faith, ask Him to reveal his Father's will for this company.

We are truly excited to introduce Salt & Light Designs. The idea of incorporating Biblical scenes in an Aloha Shirt design was first planted on November 7, 1999, while singing praises to our Lord with my wife and three children at Hope Chapel Kihei, Maui. Through the Holy Spirit, that seed has grown. Salt & Light Designs made its debut in 2001 with two designs, Walk with Jesus and Peter's Redemption, which share the foundation of this Christ centered company. Our third design King of kings, came out in 2003 and continues to bring honor and glory to God. For 2005 we continue the worship and bring two brand new designs before God. They are called, "Only Through Him," and "Your Cross."

Our garments are not intended to be worn as shiny chest plates full of gemstones, rather, like tassels that remind you of His presence (Numbers 15: 37-41) and of the freedom we have in Christ. It is our hope that as people wear these garments, it will remind them of God's unconditional love and constant presence, encourage their walk with Christ, and spark a spontaneous boldness to lovingly share the gospel.

Our Name:
Salt & Light Designs comes from Matthew 5: 13-17.

"You are the salt of the earth." Salt is so common and practical yet it gives great flavor. We are to speak with flavor to introduce our lost world to our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ. Furthermore, treasure your flavor for Christ always, never losing it, so the world can experience His love also.

"You are the light of the world." Let your light shine before men. Yes, the world is watching and observing us. As Christians, we are called to be good examples for Christ so they will see our good deeds and give praise to our Father in heaven. Always share the Gospel of Christ and when necessary, use words.

Vision:
We are to desire to do God's will and seek after His own heart.

Mission:
Salt & Light Designs will create unique aloha wear designs that share Old Testament Bible stories and the Good News of Salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ. Our designs' purpose is to humbly remind the wearer of God's unconditional love and constant presence, as well as encourage conversations that will lead to the sharing of God's perfect love.

Philosophy:
He has a plan for each and every one of us. Listen to His whisper. We pray that we keep focused on Jesus continually asking Him to reveal his Father's will for this company. James 4: 13-15
